BeerEx Africa at NCG: How Our Spaces Made One Standout Event
BeerEx Africa brought 37 exhibitors across the venue spaces at Newlands Cricket Ground in May 2026, showing how NCG supports seamless, multi-space trade events in Cape Town.
When BeerEx Africa chose Newlands Cricket Ground as the home for their 2026 showcase, it marked the first time the trade event had been hosted at our venue.
A Two-Day Trade Event at Newlands Cricket Ground
Held over 22 and 23 May, the two-day exhibition brought together 37 exhibitors from across the craft beer and beverage industry, and gave us the opportunity to show exactly what multi-space event hosting at NCG looks like in practice.
Three Spaces. One Cohesive Event.
Rather than confining BeerEx Africa to a single hall, the layout made full use of NCG's connected venue offering. The Multipurpose Hall served as the main exhibition floor, housing all 37 exhibitors across a purpose-configured setup.
The Glass Foyer handled arrivals and reception, giving guests a polished first impression before entering the main floor. The Glass Box was used for conferencing, providing a focused, separate environment for the event's programme sessions, away from the energy of the exhibition.
This kind of multi-space configuration is something NCG is specifically built for. Each area functions independently but connects seamlessly, allowing organisers to run concurrent formats, including exhibition, networking and conferencing, without compromise.
